My university interior architecture degree has been another critical aspect of my iconographer journey. It honed my sense of composition, proportion, and sense of harmony with space—abilities applicable to the physical environment in both icon development and building spaces. This learning instilled greater attention to balance and structure on my part, as well as increasing depth to the ability to visually and spiritually potent icons.
